About the Project
When a massive sinkhole swallows part of Los Angeles, it splits a family in two — separating them across time and into an unexplained primeval world. La Brea is a high-concept sci-fi adventure series that combines dinosaurs, ancient civilisations, and family drama across multiple seasons on NBC.
Produced in Melbourne, the series required extensive VFX to realise its prehistoric environments, creature work and large-scale disaster sequences.
Our Work
Future Associate delivered VFX across both Series 2 and Series 3 — 50+ shots in S2 and 100+ shots in S3 — spanning prehistoric environment work, a major bushfire sequence, and the series' signature large-scale VFX set pieces.
